Bot My Meals Managed — Terms of Service
Preamble
These Terms are a contract between you and Kinwyn LLC for Bot My Meals Managed — the paid household dinner-planning application we host for you at a *.botmymeals.com subdomain, including managed database storage and operation of the service.
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. These Terms control the legal relationship.
If you do not agree, do not start a Managed subscription or use a paid {handle}.botmymeals.com household.
Contact. Sign in to your Managed household and write us from Support in the app (Account → Support), when that path is available. We do not publish a phone number or a public email inbox. Mail: 212 N. 2nd St., Ste 100, Richmond, KY 40475, US.
1. What Bot My Meals Managed is (and is not)
1.1 The Service
“Service” or Bot My Meals Managed means a paid subscription to the Bot My Meals household dinner-planning application, including:
- hosting on an assigned
{handle}.botmymeals.comsubdomain; - managed database storage for your household’s meals and planning data; and
- operation of the application (including automated meal-planning assistance we use to keep your week moving).
This is a household app subscription (hosting + database + ops). It is not a sale of artificial-intelligence platform seats, bot accounts, developer tools, or API credits.
1.2 What you are not purchasing
You are not purchasing, licensing, or receiving:
- seats, accounts, or access to Cursor, xAI, Grok, ChatGPT, or any other third-party AI platform;
- API credits, token packs, chatbot minutes, or usage allotments on any AI vendor;
- resale or sublicense of any AI vendor account; or
- any product other than the Managed Bot My Meals household dinner-planning application described above.
Any AI or developer tooling we use to operate meal-planning assistance is our ops tooling / subprocessor use, not a customer-facing product we sell to you.
1.3 What Bot My Meals is not
Bot My Meals is not: a grocery delivery service; a restaurant; a nutritionist, dietitian, or medical advisor; a guarantee of meal cost, inventory, recipes’ safety, or store availability.
1.4 DIY path (free forever)
Anyone may self-host Bot My Meals on their own Cloudflare Worker and Supabase project under the public project materials. That DIY path is free, is not billed under these Terms, and is not hosted on {handle}.botmymeals.com. These paid Terms do not revoke DIY self-host rights.
Managed households and DIY instances are separate. DIY customer data does not belong in the Managed multi-tenant database.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract. The Managed service is built for households in the United States (USD billing).
The Service supports solo and multi-user households. One person (a household manager) creates or pays for the Managed household. Others join only with an invite the household controls. In multi-user households, certain actions (for example meal ballots / planning approvals where the product requires it) use multi-approve so more than one household member must confirm before the action sticks. You are responsible for people you invite and for keeping invite links private.
We may refuse, suspend, or close an account for Terms violations, security concerns, fraud (including trial or handle abuse), or law.
3. Your account and subdomain
Give accurate account information and keep sign-in credentials under your control. You are responsible for activity under your account and household.
At signup you pick a handle that becomes {handle}.botmymeals.com, subject to availability and our policies. Intended handle rules at signup: length 3–32 characters, [a-z0-9-], no leading or trailing hyphen. We may reclaim unused, abusive, or trademark-infringing handles.
You do not own the botmymeals.com domain or any subdomain. You receive a limited, revocable right to use your assigned subdomain while your Managed subscription is in good standing (or during the disclosed retention window after cancel, solely for export / recovery as described below).
4. Your content
“Your Content” means emails and profile data you provide; household membership; meal plans, ballots, ratings, preferences, dietary notes, budgets, notes; recipes or saved meals you enter; wake / webhook metadata needed to operate meal assistance; and anything else you or your household put into the Managed app.
You keep rights you already have in Your Content. You grant us a limited license to host, display, process, and back up Your Content inside your household, and to send necessary fields to our processors (including hosting, database, email, payments, and tools we use to operate meal-planning assistance), solely to provide and secure the Service.
Do not upload illegal content; malware; others’ personal data you lack rights to share; or payment-card full PANs / passwords into free-text fields.
We may remove content that breaks these rules. Household content is private to the household, not a public recipe feed.
Meal plans, suggestions, and related outputs are user-generated and/or ops-assisted. They are not professional nutritional or medical advice.
5. Acceptable use
Use Managed Bot My Meals only for your household’s private dinner planning.
You may not: scrape or bulk-export other households’ data; probe other tenants; resell, sublicense, or republish the Managed service; bypass billing or rate limits; squat handles for resale; use the Service to attack our infrastructure or processors; or misrepresent the Service as AI-platform seats, credits, or third-party accounts.
6. Plans, trial, payment, and cancel
6.1 Plan and pricing
Current Managed Household prices are $9.99 per month or $99 per year, in U.S. dollars, as shown at checkout. Taxes may apply when we enable tax collection.
6.2 Who bills
The paid subscription belongs to the household, not to one “seat.” Only a household manager can start, change, or cancel billing. Other members may use the household while the subscription is active.
6.3 Merchant of record
Charges are processed by Stripe for us, branded BotMyMeals on statements where Stripe allows. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. We do not store full card numbers.
6.4 Trial
New Managed subscriptions may include a 7-day trial. We collect a payment method at checkout. If you cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal (or another cancel path we provide) before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you do not cancel, the subscription converts and you are charged the selected price.
6.5 Auto-renewal
Fees are due in advance for the monthly or annual period you choose. Unless you cancel, the plan renews automatically at the then-current price until canceled.
6.6 Failed payment after trial or during a paid period
If a charge fails after the trial (or after a paid period begins) and is not successfully completed, access to the Managed subdomain ends. We do not provide a long unpaid grace period. Stripe may briefly retry a failed invoice under its settings; that is not a promise of continued free access.
6.7 Cancel
You can cancel future renewals from the Stripe Customer Portal (linked from Account / Subscription when available) or another cancel method we publish. After you cancel a paid period, Managed access continues until that prepaid period ends, then ends. Trial cancel stops conversion to paid.
6.8 Refunds and price changes
Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it or we say otherwise at checkout. We may change prices with notice before the next renewal.
6.9 What you are buying (restated)
A subscription to the Managed Bot My Meals application and hosting, not AI vendor seats, bots, Cursor/xAI access, or credits.
7. Effect of cancel or unpaid end — data and subdomain
When Managed access ends (cancel at period end, failed post-trial charge, or our termination for cause):
{handle}.botmymeals.comstops serving the household app (paid-ended or unavailable page).- We retain household meal, ballot, and planning data for 30 days so you can export or contact Support about recovery, then hard-delete that content (prefer hard delete over de-identify-to-retain). Exceptions: records we must keep for law, billing, security, or dispute only.
- After retention, we may release the handle for others.
- Your right to DIY self-host on your own infrastructure remains available under the public project materials and is unaffected by canceling Managed.
8. Third-party services
Sign-in providers, Stripe Checkout / Portal, email delivery, CDN / hosting, and similar features involve other companies. Their terms apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party sites you open from the app.
Tools we use to operate meal-planning assistance (for example operator tooling from Cursor, xAI, or similar) are our subprocessors / ops tools, not products we sell to you and not customer accounts we provision for you.
9. Intellectual property
Bot My Meals, the name, the Managed app, and our original design and software are owned by us and our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Managed service while your subscription is in good standing. They do not sell you the software or the domain.
Open-source or public DIY materials remain under their own licenses.
You may not copy the Managed product, reverse engineer it except where law allows, or remove our notices.
10. Disclaimers
BOT MY MEALS MANAGED IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that meal suggestions, recipes, budgets, or availability are accurate, complete, safe for any diet, allergy-safe, or uninterrupted. Meal plans are user-generated and/or ops-assisted. You are responsible for allergies, dietary needs, and food safety. Nothing in the Service is nutritional, dietetic, or medical advice. Some states do not allow certain disclaimers; we disclaim only as far as the law allows.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THAT KIND OF LOSS WAS POSSIBLE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE MANAGED SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR BOT MY MEALS MANAGED IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) TWENTY-FIVE U.S. DOLLARS ($25).
These limits do not apply to liability the law says we cannot limit.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees that arise out of Your Content; your misuse of the Service; or your violation of these Terms. We will notify you of a claim and you will cooperate. We may choose our own counsel at our expense if we want to control the defense.
13. Termination
You may stop using Managed Bot My Meals and cancel billing as described above. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, if we discontinue the product, or if we must for law or security. We will try to give notice when it is reasonable.
On termination, your license to the Managed subdomain ends. Sections that should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.
14. Changes
We may change features and these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for a material change, notify you in the app or by email. If you keep using Managed Bot My Meals after the new Terms take effect, you accept them. If you do not, cancel and stop using the Managed service.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and by U.S. federal law where it applies.
Courts located in Kentucky will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either side may seek injunctive relief in any court for unauthorized access or misuse of the Service.
If you are a consumer, you also keep any non-waivable rights your state gives you. These Terms do not require arbitration.
16. Miscellaneous
These Terms are the entire agreement about the Managed service. If a section is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may assign these Terms in a sale of the service. You may not assign them without our consent. A failure to enforce a section is not a waiver. People in your household are bound by the same use rules when they accept an invite. Headings are for convenience only.
